since when?

It has been a month since my last update. It has been two weeks since my sister and hin hin got back from Manchester. It has been a week since Mother's Day. Work has been busy since Easter. Still, I have dragon boating, the performance of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat and the Art of Mark Rothko to spice up my schedule.

Readings:
Respect, The information of Character in an Age of Inequality, Richard Sennett
Richard Sennett illustrated the idea of respect through music. "Many musicians has the cooperative impulse, but few manage to translate it into sound." The best concert is not necessary the one that every musicians give their best. Sometimes it's all about "treating with respect the need perceived in another when acting together". "In social life as in art, people would face the problem of how to shape their worse and their best impulses. Mutuality requires expressive work. It must be enacted, performed."

It's not how Good you are, it's how Good you want to be, Paul Arden
"Present on Tuesday. Monday was too early, nothing to judge by. Wednesday and Thursday were like eating too much chocolate. Friday. Feeling sick."

WHATEVER YOU THINK KNIHT EHT ETISOPPO, Paul Arden
"When asked the secret of success, Woody Allen replied, "Turn Up."
"What is a good idea? One that happens is. If it doesn't, it isn't."
